The Göttingen Cephalosporins site is part of the NextPharma Group since 2000. All cephalosporin manufacturing and packaging is conducted in a segregated area under full GMP conditions, ensuring cross-contamination controls appropriate to Cephalosporin antibiotics from bulk manufacturing through to primary and secondary packaging.

Encapsulation: Modular capsule-filling platform for producing hard capsules with high precision and flexibility. We can fill powders, granules, tablets, or capsules or combinations thereof into capsules, enabling complex oral dosage forms while supporting high-speed GMP manufacturing
Contract analytics: Method development, validation, stability studies and QP release
Microbiology: Testing and consultation, preservative stress testing, microbiological evaluation

Production at NextPharma Göttingen Cephalosporins operates, amongst others, under EU GMP and US FDA requirements with manufacturing and packaging conducted in a dedicated segregated area. The site is subject to the same regulatory inspection programme as the broader NextPharma Göttingen site.
The NextPharma Göttingen Cephalosporins site covers 5,000 m² of land with 1,600 m² of built area, including 900 m² of GMP production space and 700 m² of warehousing supporting 1,500 pallet places. The cephalosporin production and packaging areas are fully segregated from the adjacent oral solids facility.
