The Berlin site has been part of the NextPharma Group since 2003. It is purpose-built as a dedicated centre of excellence for penicillin beta-lactam antibiotics.
Our monthly capacities include 20 million defined daily doses. Our core product portfolio covers penicillins and combinations, in the following oral solid dose forms:
Packaging options for tablets and capsules include Alu-Alu and Alu-PVDC blisters as well as HDPE and glass bottles. Bottles and sachets are available for powder formats. Development is integrated into the site: galenic and analytical development, scale-up, clinical batches, validation, and stability testing are all available at NextPharma Berlin, supporting programms from early formulation through to commercial manufacture and market release.

Production at NextPharma Berlin operates, amongst others, under EU and FDA regulatory oversight, supporting supply to both the European Union and United States markets.
NextPharma’s Berlin site covers 7,540 m² of land with 3,050 m² of built area, including 1,700 m² of GMP production space and 707 m² of administration. Warehousing supports 750 pallets. The production facility operates under dedicated humidity and temperature-controlled environments (max. 20°C, max. 20% RH) across both bulk production and primary packaging.
